Triple Sweet Corn For Compassion Sale:

We will be selling the locally grown and same-day-picked sweet corn on 3 days – Thursday, July 24th through Saturday, July 26th – at the east door overhang of the Church parking lot, located 402 Main Street, in Carthage.

At the Church’s east door – from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
First United Methodist Church – 402 Main Street, Carthage
Proceeds will go to Local, State, and Global Compassionate Missions

The “Corn for Compassion” project begins this year and the money raised will be used by the Church for its compassionate missions work, both locally and globally. We plan to designate a large portion of the monies to support the work of a Hospice Program in Mongolia, caring for the terminally ill in their last months of life. The remainder of the monies raised will be used for the education and support of two World Vision children, as well as various local missions to those in need in the greater Carthage, and Illinois area.
